Description

Join us for an insightful webinar reviewing the significant changes to the NZICA/CAANZ Code of Ethics over the past 4-5 years. Enhance your understanding and stay ahead in your profession!

Ethics are one of the cornerstones of our profession. Their existence and our accountability under them help increase trust in the profession. The NZICA/CAANZ Code of Ethics has had three significant changes in recent years. They are the inclusion of the NOCLAR rules in July 2017, the rewrite and restructure in June 2019 and further changes made that were effective from 31 December 2021. In this session will a review of these changes. The presentation will overview the changes and review some of the main features that have been introduced.

The webinar will not review the ethical standards for audits and reviews. There were further changes effective from 15 December 2022. These relate to non-assurance work done by members offering assurance services so we won’t be covering the changes.
