Learn how understanding neurodiversity can transform your workplace into an inclusive environment where neurodiverse individuals thrive. Discover ways to support neurodivergent staff and customers and learn about their triggers and stressors
Everyone’s brain is unique and many people’s function in quite similar ways; meaning they are neurotypical. However, around 20% of the population, have “neurodiverse brains”. Common neurodiverse conditions include autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and Tourette’s syndrome.
It is estimated that nearly 50 percent of neurodiverse people are unemployed. Many neurodiverse people have challenges finding work and keeping it. Being perceived as “different” and “not fitting in” often results in job losses because people simply misinterpret their behaviour.
Often with a little understanding these people can become great employees and fit into the workplace.
This webinar will help employers and co-workers to understand neurodiversity and recognize how to make the workplace more welcoming to someone who is neurodiverse.
We will go over some practical ways companies can support their neurodivergent staff and customers and understand some of the triggers and stressors that can affect neurodiverse people.
All employers/all workplaces.
