Charities law deep dive
The Charities Amendment Act 2023 received Royal Assent on 5 July 2023, but most of it does not come into force until either 5 October 2023, or 5 July 2024. The new legislation makes important changes to the legal framework for charities and will affect every registered charity in New Zealand. This webinar will look at what’s changing, by when, and what charities and their advisers need to know in the transition to the new legislation.
The webinar is intended to be suitable for those involved with charities, at whatever level, advanced or otherwise. It is intended to give both a theoretical overview as well as sufficient detail to be practical. Practitioners from both small and large firms should attend.
