Estate Administration 2024 - Persons and Executors with Mental Capacity Issues - 7 May 2024 (On Demand)
Description
What action to take when persons who are incapable need to make a will, change a will or administer a person’s estate
Situations frequently arise where persons are incapable, and a Property Manager has been appointed to protect and manage their affairs, or an Enduring Power of Attorney has come into effect on their disability, so that their Attorney is charged with looking after their property and their affairs.
Questions then arise as to how people with mental capacity issues can make a will or how can their will be changed; how can they administer the estate as executor when they are incapable?
This webinar answers these questions and includes precedent forms for the various types of applications that need to be filed in the court.
