Have a positive impact and get the most out of your people
New data suggests that for almost 70% of people, their manager has more impact on their mental health than their therapist or their doctor—and it’s equal to the impact of their partner. If you’re a leader, you’re right to find this data sobering.
The stakes for leadership have always been high, but knowing you’re affecting people that much, is cause for leaders to take stock and ensure they’re doing all they can to be their best and have their most positive impacts on people.
Leading the team begins with leaders showing up and walking the talk. Leading change and the capacity to connect are primary leadership competencies required today.
Neither is easy. They require leaders to level up and develop resilience, agility, empathy, and self-awareness. Change brings up fear, resistance, insecurity and reactivity.
In order to help move people beyond these regressive states of mind, leaders need to shift out of reactive and into the adaptive style of leadership. They need to develop their own resilience and emotional intelligence. The capacity for empathy and the ability to accept their own vulnerability around the challenges they face are key competencies needed to be able to meet the demands of complexity and unpredictability of leading change.
During this webinar we will cover the foundations of authentic leadership and building the above line culture of trust and positive engagement.
