Stephen Tomlinson is the principal of Tomlinson Law. Stephen has lectured in taxation, finance and business law at the University of Canterbury and is a well-known presenter of taxation and trust seminars. Stephen advises accounting firms and law firms on a wide range of tax issues. He is a member of the NZLS Taxation Committee and the Minister’s Trust Reference Group on trust law reform.
Susan Ballantyne, Tomlinson Law
Susan is a senior associate at Tomlinson Law. Susan is a tax specialist with over 15 years’ tax experience. Her experience includes providing tax advice in a leading tax publishing and training organisation, and as a tax manager at an international accounting firm. Susan’s experience enables her to provide advice to a wide range of clients on all areas of taxation.
Harry Waddell, Tomlinson Law
Harry is a senior associate at Tomlinson Law and has a LL.B. and a M.Com. (1st class honours) from the University of Canterbury. Harry is a member of CA ANZ and a committee member of Young IFA Network (YIN). He is currently studying for a PhD part-time at the University of Canterbury and has published a number of articles on domestic tax issues. Harry has worked with a wide range of clients across many sectors and regularly teaches at the University of Canterbury.
